exams.fyi is a personalized exam-discovery platform for Indian students. Instead of a generic listing of every exam under the sun, we structure exam data - dates, eligibility rules, conducting bodies, official sources - and match it against a student's own profile (class, stream, category, domicile) to show why they qualify for a given exam, not just that it exists.

We care more about accuracy than volume. We would rather show 200 exams we have verified against an official source than 5,000 scraped from wherever, half of them stale. Every important fact on the platform - a date, an eligibility criterion, a fee - is meant to be traceable back to a source URL and a timestamp.

• Exam information in India is scattered across hundreds of official websites, each with different formats, update cadences, and reliability.
• Generic listing sites optimize for search traffic and ad volume, not for whether the information is current or whether it applies to a specific student.
• Eligibility rules (age, category relaxations, qualifying marks, domicile) are often the hardest part to get right, and getting them wrong costs a student a real opportunity.
