https://cuet.nta.nic.inCUET UG is the NTA's standardized entrance test for undergraduate admission to central universities and a fast-growing number of state and private universities - replacing each university's own separate entrance process with one common test. Introduced in its current form in 2022 (evolving from the earlier CUCET), participation has grown from 88 universities in its first year to 230+ today.

You can choose up to 5 subjects/papers across the three sections; each is scored separately (250 marks each), not combined into one overall score.
There's no single centralized CUET counselling the way JoSAA or the Consortium of NLUs runs one - each participating university sets its own CUET-score cutoffs and admission process for its programs. Check the specific university you're applying to for how it uses your score.
