Eligibility

EducationYou need a Bachelor's degree (any discipline) from a recognized university, or be in your final year - open to any Indian citizen, not just Madhya Pradesh residents (MP domicile is only required to claim state-specific reservation categories).
AgeAge must be 21-40 years as of 1 January 2026 for non-uniformed-service posts (some posts have a lower upper limit) - standard MPPSC relaxations apply for reserved categories.

About MPPSC SSE

MPPSC SSE is Madhya Pradesh's state civil services exam - the state-level equivalent of UPSC CSE - for Deputy Collector, DSP, and other Group A/B state administrative services. Open to any Indian citizen, though reservation-category benefits require MP domicile. Three stages: Prelims, Mains (six descriptive papers over six days), Interview. The 2026 notification covers 155 vacancies.

Exam pattern

Prelims covers General Studies and General Aptitude; Mains includes a Hindi/language paper alongside General Studies papers.

Selection process

Prelims marks are for screening only and don't count toward the final rank - Mains + Interview marks decide the final merit list, same structure as UPSC CSE and the other state PSCs in this dataset.
