https://aiimsexams.ac.inINI-CET is the joint entrance exam for MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh postgraduate medical seats at India's Institutes of National Importance - every AIIMS campus, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Trivandrum - held twice a year for January and July admission sessions, conducted by AIIMS New Delhi on behalf of the group.

Unlike NEET PG, INI-CET rank alone determines seat allotment through one centralized counselling round across all participating institutes - there is no separate state/quota-based counselling layer since every seat is pooled under a single process.
The INI-CET July 2026 exam is scheduled for 16 May 2026.
The application fee for INI-CET July 2026 is ₹4000 for General candidates and ₹3200 for SC/ST/reserved candidates. Payment charges and some categories can differ, so check the notification on the official website (https://aiimsexams.ac.in).
You need an MBBS degree from a college recognized by the National Medical Commission, plus a completed (or about-to-complete-by-a-set-cutoff) 1-year compulsory rotating internship. The full rules, including age and category relaxations, are in the Eligibility section above.
