https://kpsc.kar.nic.inKPSC KAS is Karnataka's state civil services exam - the state-level equivalent of UPSC CSE - for the Karnataka Administrative Service and allied Group A/B posts (Deputy Collector/Tehsildar-equivalent, DSP, and other state administrative services). Open to any Indian citizen, though reservation-category benefits require Karnataka domicile. Three stages: Prelims, Mains, Interview. The 2026 notification covers 319 vacancies.
Prelims covers General Studies and current affairs; Mains has multiple descriptive papers including a Kannada language paper.
Prelims marks are for screening only and don't count toward the final rank - Mains + Interview marks decide the final merit list, same structure as UPSC CSE and the other state PSCs in this dataset.
