https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.inUCEED is the mandatory qualifying exam for B.Des admission at IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur - conducted by IIT Bombay. It's the design-focused counterpart to JEE for these institutes' design programs, distinct from NID's or NATA's own separate tests.

Only candidates who clear the Part A cutoff have their Part B (drawing) answers evaluated at all - Part B isn't scored for anyone who doesn't clear Part A first.
IIT seats are allotted through a centralized UCEED-rank-based counselling across all participating institutes, similar in spirit to JoSAA but specific to these design programs.
